Missions Group
The Missions Committee has been around for about 30 years, since Don Krestar was Pastor. We started out with three members. Over the years we have grown in membership and are now called the Missions Group. We meet the last Tuesday of each month at 7 o’clock in the evening in the home of one of the members. At times we will meet at the church. At our meetings we have a devotional study and a business meeting. We also always have delicious refreshments and a great fellowship.
We are supported with offerings by the church the second Sunday of the month, which is known as Mission Sunday. Fundraisers also support us. This year we replaced our Missions dinner with two Sub sales. We also have a bake sale at Pioneer Park, a White Elephant sale at the church picnic, an Apple Dumpling sale in October and three singspirations. The singspirations are held in May, September and “Ring The Bells Singspiration” in December.

This is a budget of $4,000 a year. In the past we have been blessed by meeting that amount and beyond that figure.
We are always looking for new members. Everyone is welcome to join. Just tell any Missions member or Pastor Mark.
